Mission to the Moon

Just imagine that you are on a future mission to the moon when something goes wrong with the spacecraft and you have to land 50 miles from the lunar base.

Students will work collaboratively to select which things to carry with them as they walk across the moon, and they may only choose 5. Which ones are most important and why? The students decide and explain their thoughts to each other. After the activity is over, students write about it.

There are two different ways students can record their thinking. One is in a foldable for their            Interactive Science Journals like the one below.

The other way to record information is in booklet form
